I was off at 10 tonight and was home by 11:30 rather than midnight like last week. SCORE.
While I'm still crushed from England's loss to Portugal (big fat WOE), I'm looking forward to Sunday's final of Italy vs. France because a) Portugal isn't in it (I'm a sore loser like that), and b) I actually have the day off and get to watch it live. Wheeeee.
Emmy nominations: yay to Scrubs for getting best comedy again! I thought last year's nod was a complete fluke, a throwaway nom because people were starting to take notice of The Braff due to Garden State, so I was pleasantly surprise to see the show on the list again (even though it has no chance of winning). Of course, they snubbed the brilliant John C. McGinley. AGAIN. I have no energy to rant on the snubs, so we'll leave this on a positive note.
