Live from Studio 60 on the Sunset Strip!
1) Veronica Mars is renewed for season 3! WHOO! There is a tv god! (Except not really, because who in their right mind would bring back 7th Heaven?)
2) Scrubs is coming back, but NBC is screwing around with their timeslot again (it's a mid-season replacement). What else is new?
3) Grey's is moving to Thursday night at 9pm. Do you hate me, ABC? Grey's vs. CSI vs. Studio 60. Studio 60 is going to get creamed in ratings, and I NEED this show to survive.
4) Six minute preview of Studio 60 from the upfront here. SQUEE. The set looks amazing, the cast is top-notched, and it's classic Sorkin writing. People, I am in love already. LOVE. Especially Matt Albie. (Also, I can't get over how blond Timothy Busfield is.)
5) Speaking of Grey's, I can't write about Monday's two hour ep (longest two hours of my LIFE) because it will end up like this: OMG RAGE HAAAAATE ARRRGGGHHHHHH!! I can't think about it without my blood boiling, so I'm just going to block it out.
6) You know how there are cutesy shipper names like LoVe (*shudder*) and Sarkney? Meredith/Derek should be MerDe. Because they are the shittiest, most self-absorbed and hateful people/couple on television. 80% of that is McDouchebag, of course.
7) I caught Jennifer Garner on Regis and Kelly this morning and she's still as adorable as ever. Her advice before showing the Alias clip? "Don't think too hard about it." Oh trust me, that's what I've been trying to do for the past three years.
8) STUDIO 60! Um, I've got nothing. I just like the number 8. And I love this icon a lot.
