BLAH!

Oct 22, 2005 01:29

I'm in such a BLAH mood. Most of it is attributed to the fact that I fucked up on football testing yesterday. It went so well on Tuesday, but it was absolutely TERRIBLE yesterday. Punting? The ball didn't even get airborne. Long snap? Not my strongest element, okay. But I couldn't kick a fucking field goal. I was angry at myself because I know I can do it, I've done it before, but I was just having a terrible kicking day. I was growling and swearing up and down the field and it was just so frustrating. ARGH. Well there goes a good chunk of my mark. To top it off, the written portion today was not what I expected. I'm just relieved football is done and over with.

Anyway. I don't have much to say about this week's tv.

I'll admit it, I've tuned back to TWW for the Toby-leak storyline, though did it really need to take them 3 eps to finally get to it? Anyway, nooo! Someone please tell me Richard Schiff isn't leaving the show so early in the season! I can't wait to see Sunday's ep though. *bounces*

The first time watching the ep, I was so distracted by Logan's scene and I finally realized why the second time around. The shirt. The blue shirt. The large (non-fitted, at least), blue shirt. Just... no. That's Duncan's colour; stick to green, Logan! (Unless the writers are hinting at something... have you made up with Duncan and have been staying over at his place when Veronica isn't around? Next thing you know, Veronica will be pointing out that Logan IS wearing Duncan's shirt and... okay, I'm going to stop now. I was having a Sports Night moment, though it doesn't quite work with a threesome.)

I enjoy reading the theories on Meg right now, though I don't know if she would have gotten pregnant with Duncan since she was pretty conservative with Cole. I barely recognized Lizzie in the hospital scene because the clothing made her look like she was 12. Were the black eyes on Meg's little sister there on purpose? I didn't get the impression that Meg's parents were so strict that they were abusive from last season. Hmm. More pondering to do. And while Veronica didn't read Meg's files right away, I'm sure she still has them on her computer. The girl is too curious for her own good.

Mac! Mars Investigation! Weevil!

"So am I suppose to hide in the bedroom like a hooker?" Loved the line, and I like how KB used the bed sheet to emphasize her anger. Duncan? Is Mr. King of Avoidance. What a tool. He's probably in on the Meg secret if Lizzie let him keep the memory stick. If so, I get why he's not willing to share his feelings with Veronica regarding Meg, but couldn't he change the subject in a less abrupt manner? Gah.

I laughed so hard that my stomach was in pain when Wallace was trying to sell Scottish man candies and pen. Love you, Wallace! Also, who's your daddy? No, really.

The promo for next week was absolutely atrocious. The cut back to The Faders? Ugh. I know, VM needs the ratings, but can we stop with the special/musical guest stars already? No more after Joss Whedon and the chick from Top Model. At least they used Kevin Smith well.

Also, I'm psyched for the Wallace-centric episode next week. At least, the teaser made it seem like it. It's about time, I say!

Sun and Jin, yay for their back story, blah blah blah. But really, let's talk about Sawyer/Kate. SQUEEEEEEEE! She didn't get to say goodbye to him! And she was all sad! Can Sawyer come back already so they can have hot sex? Of course, the Sawyer/Kate/Jack triangle is now a quad since they've thrown Michelle Rodriguez in there. But squeeee!

Shut UP, Sydney. We get it, you've been there, done that. You're a pro super spy. Ugh. Other than that, I can barely remember the plotline.

Serenity is at the university theatre this week and I'm going to try and drag the roommates to go see it with me. If it doesn't work, well... dammit, it will work.
