The seats that Dil and I bought for the John Mayer/ Maroon 5 were excellent. We got them last minute on Ebay for a great place (*lovesebay*) and we were smacked right in the middle of the 300 level. John Mayer and Maroon 5 were awesome! I didn't get into Maroon 5 as much just because I wasn't too familiar with their songs but they were still great. Now John Mayer... just GUH. The man OWNED his guitar(s); the way his fingers flew all over that instrument was just completely insane and I was definitely impressed. When he sang his old hits? The whole venue completely rocked out. I swear it was like a congregation of (Ontario) university students. But yeah, I had a blast and I'm still on a John Mayer high.
Garden State this Thursday! WHEEE!
TAR was absolutely hilarious tonight. Heee. I love it when animals are involved.
Have you guys seen the new promo for The O.C.? (From corngirl_jo) It makes me all giddy and I long for this show to start up again.
I'm reading The Mists of Avalon at the moment and it's interesting to see the Christian characters vs. the Pagans (i.e. Druids, priestesses). It gives a good sense of how narrow-minded some people were (and are) when it comes to their own religion and the intolerance of other people's beliefs.
On the real life front, I'm working/ volunteering 7 days a week this week. Again. Blah.
