Fandom, you are so strange.
This is so random. Three fics I have favorited on FF.net have been updated in the past two days. The thing is, it's been at least six months since they were all last updated. And they're all by different authors. Different authors, different 'ships, incredibly different plots--the only thing they have in common is that they're all HP fics.
Also (changing the subject entirely), anyone who is a huge Hermione fan (like me) should check pstibbons's LJ. He has a couple of themed lists up, and a list of definitions for Hermione fans. Also, you should read his fic--you can find it on FF.net and Portkey.org. It's hilarious and wonderfully Hermione-oriented.
