My every so often update...
Recent Events of Note:
1. I got all of my letter writing done, finally. I feel like I'm losing touch with a few people I love.
2. It is hard for me being away from the college life. I feel like I have to force myself to be young sometimes- since I have such a grown up job. Don't get me wrong, love the job to pieces- but I am more grown up than many of my friends. I need to be an example for the students I love!
3. I attended a friends baby shower today- it was wonderful. She looks beautiful and healthy and I'm sure her little girl will be too. She received many lovely gifts (I gave her an outfit and baby monitors).
4. Nicki set a date for her wedding- August 4th! WAHOO! I get to stand up in my first wedding.
5. Mind you- I should note here that I'm still feeling impatient. I have Stephanie's wedding coming up, and her sister got engaged today (side note- what kind of jerk of a guy proposes to a girl less than a month before her sisters wedding- how awful is that?)- arg. Is everyone trying to rub it in? ha ha ha- of course not, sometimes it just feels that way.
6. I've been working volleyball games and doing a bit of internal subbing to earn some extra dough- gotta save money for my down payment on a house/condo/townhouse type thing.
7. I'm not sure why I am numbering this post.
8. My parents are visiting my mom's dad this weekend- I haven't seen him in years- maybe when I get married he'll make it up here.
9. I'm feeling bitter about things as I write this post- what a horrible way to feel- but bitter nonetheless
10. I am going with Meghan, Nicki, Dave, and Mark to see The Prestige tonight- I'll let you all know how it is.
11. Quarter grades are due on Halloween!!! YIPES!
