Guess who's having the strangest noon hour ever???
So first, one of my boxes of Stuff arrives from my grandmother who is kindly shipping it on to me from her house. (It is ultimately cheaper for me to have my grandma ship me seven boxes than have a hitch attached to my car and rent a U-Haul for three days.) I open it up, interested to see what is in this box that I haven't looked inside for two months and therefore have forgotten what I own.
Approximately half of it is my own stuff. The other half is not. I got a few of my books (yay!) and then...a double feature DVD featuring Ving Rhames, three blank CDs with cases (my grandmother does not own a computer), and inside a shoe box there is an old, small jewelry case with a portrait of the virgin Mary and Jesus or something on it.
I. Don't. Even. Know. I guess this will make for an interesting conversation when I call my grandma.
Then, the mattress arrives. (Yay you guys a REAL MATTRESS!!! That's two pieces of furniture for those of you keeping count at home.) Cheerful, nice guys with a small side of creepy. One of them told me, "Well don't you just have the cutest little face. So happy and cute."
I. Uh. Yes? Thank you? Please set up my mattress and leave. O_o
I'm going to go fix lunch now and then go buy sheets for my bed and food.
