So I was messing around with some links and resources I was adding to
the blog I'm keeping about my intern experiences when I ran across
this blog post about a job that made me forget why I want a break after I complete my masters degree. (Besides, I'm not 100% positive I want to pursue a doctorate yet.)
This is a research position in the exact, precise area I'm interested in: cognitive-communication. And it would be at
NIH, where exciting medical-related research goes on anyway. This is not quite what I envision as the perfect job (there's a professor in my department with that job), but it's a close second.
I am going to gaze at the post a little while longer and remind myself that even if I started now, this job would be long gone by the time I completed a doctorate. But oh em gee, what a fabulous, fabulous job.
I wonder if they need masters level research assistants...???
