the simple things

I think all too often we forget that the most simple of moments may in fact be our best dreams come to life and our most cherished memories for years to come. These moments are fleeting and often involve people and places that we never may see again. We hold them so close to our hearts that I think we push them to the far reaches of our memories because they are so sweet that it is almost bitter to remember them. These moments hold everything that is best in us and beautiful in the world. At once all the sorrows and miseries of living are replaced as we are back in that moment in time for just a split second. It is a strange sort of grace to have such minds and souls as we do.
