I don't agree at all....
In todays society, abortion has become a commun practice, defended by deceptive arguments. If you face questions about this matter you can be secure in following the revealed will of the Lord. Latter-day prophets have denounced abortion, referring to the Lords declaration, " Thou shalt not... kill, nor do anything like unto it."
When a child is conceived out of wedlock, the best option is for the mother and father to marry. If this is not possible the child should be placed up for adoption.
Now this is my personal view on this matter. I'm only stateing it becuase the subject was brought up. I have no intent on argueing with anyone about it. My mind is not going to be changed by anyone. I also am not tring to change anyones mind or to offend anyone. Everybody has a right to have an opinion and I respect all who differ from my own and ask that I in turn recieve the same respect. Thank you.

Well, I don't find anything deceptive in the pro-choice arguments. I also don't think it's disrespectful to post something that agrees with my views in my own journal.
You have a right to your own opinion of course, but please back it up with science, not one religion's particular words.
Actually though, I don't think religion or government have any place in a woman's medical decisions. It should be between her and her doctor, period.

where did i say you are being disrespectful? I did not say it as far as I know. I just dont want harrased for voiceing my opinion becuase it was not the same as yours is all. Science has nothing to do with our souls or our well being after this life. Altho I find science to be a rather interesting subject, my favorite one in school actually, i do not base my beliefs on science. I don't chose right from wrong scientificly. I chose those choices by following the still small voice inside me and prayer and study of the revealed word of our Lord. For being such a scientific person you sure chose an odd faith to follow.. wouldnt scientology be better? Something backed by science since its so right?

NO, scientology is still some sect of Christianity, isn't it? The way I look at it, following a nature religion makes sense - nature is obvious. As for deities, I guess the difference is that there are so many less Pagans that we can have much more intimate relationships with them.
But no, my path is not at all at odds with science. It's not like many other religions where faith is at odds with science. Many Pagans, not just witches, embrace scientific or scholarly careers. A lot of others choose service professions such as nursing, teaching, and law enforcement.
Science isn't my favorite subject, even though it's an easy A. I really love history and literature. I love things that require thought about the why, not just memorization of complicated sounding stuff.
Aside from the abortion debate, though, can you tell me what you percieve the soul to be?
What is it's nature? When do you believe it manifests? Is it there during a comatose state? Can it communicate on a higher plane of awareness than most mortals are able to fathom?
