Well i'm hoping they will talk more about health insurance and things at the next two. I'm sure they will.
I'm certainly not all gung-ho about Kerry but it could be worse. He's no Dennis ;) But as far as politicians that have a shot..i'd say he's the far lesser evil of the two. At one point I was totally distraught that these were the two people running for president.
I was still on my Kuchinich high and to go from being able to actually vote in the primary for someone who was just so right on. So exactly what I think we need. To compromise , to SETTLE deeply bothered me. But now it's like...my anger isn't going to change anything so screw it...lol
I live in massachusetts and I must admit I have voted for him for senator. His enviromental track record is pretty good. The truth of the matter is it's going to be a LONG time before someone as libral as I would like would even stand a chance in this country. Sad but true. So the only thing I can do is look at the positives of Kerry. I like Edwards even less actually...
I just can't stand Bush. I look at him and my stomach gets sick. And then he opens his mouth and I laugh in terrified disbelief. How is this man the PRESIDENT? For crying out loud...he's stupid. He's reckless. He's stubborn to the point of not admitting mistakes and fixing them. I'd vote for a fucking chimpanzee before I voted for him.
I think one of the best things Kerry said last night was "You can be certain and wrong. And if you are wrong you need to change your plan of action." Or something like that. You watched it...you probably know what i'm talking about. I thought that was an excellent point.
