Meet the doulas
My sister and I went to the Meet The Doulas night last week and there were a lot of people there. It was exciting to see that people were really interested in meeting up with local doulas. My sister had already spoken with Mel on the phone (after I connected the two :) ) and she really liked her. She also really liked Eileen and Ro (?). Who doesn't just LOVE Eileen, though? I hadn't seen her in a while, so I went up to her afterwards and re-introduced myself. She looked puzzled for a moment, then I said, "I was nursing twins" and the light bulb went off. By the way, she assured me that the girls won't be coming home from dates asking to nurse :) that they will quit on their own, and probably not long from now (maybe I threw that part in there!).
