Hmm. What to talk about today. Oooh, I know. Let's talk about my trip to the doctor the other day. First off, she's awesome. I don't think I've ever talked to a doctor who actually listened to what I was saying and had a real thought process about it. OK corrected question - So is Mahiri (not sure whether it's a male or female name) your offspring then?

Course it seems a bit odd now with the question after the answer that's answered it. Thanks for the answer, thought so but didn't want to jump to conclusions.

Yes, she's my offspring. And her appointment had to be rescheduled. But sadly means we still have to look forward to getting shots. :P

Bahh, I got various childhood diseases (which gave me lifelong immunity), then afterwards gave me the shots for the diseases I'd already had (which is pretty pointless).

The chances of people dying from smoking-related illnesses, drinking too much or getting too little exercise are probably far higher than the multitude of theoretical disease risks you get shots for that you'd recover from pretty quickly under normal circumstances. Ok, a strange viewpoint to take... but I'm sticking to it...
