The measure tricks you into thinking it’s a solution to Oregon’s problems. Instead, it cuts funding for schools and other public services - costing taxpayers more in the long run and does nothing to increase accountability. Vote NO on Measure 41 and 48 - Please!
Also, Kulongoski isn't worth raving about, but Ron Saxton is a complete ass. We certainly don't want him as our governor! His education plan is a complete sham and he's said some really offensive things as of late. If you are lucky enough to be unionized, he has big plans to do away with the collective bargaining rights of state employees and wants to privatize state agency services and eliminate hundreds, maybe thousands, of workers' jobs. He is not a governor for the working people. He's also allied himself with the most virulent anti-gay forces in Oregon. He opposes even basic equal treatment for GLBT Oregonians. He's also anti-immigrant and anti-choice! Vote Vote Vote.
