on a whim, i went and hunted out the mandarin F4 version. well i still like A*Teens better, but the mandarin lyrics are so good. to me at least.
2. heard last weekend's musical + Benny Hinn sessions were fabulous. would so have gone for them but i was doing CIP on saturday (which turned out to be nothing because the coach had to visit the hospital urgently. and didn't bother telling the volunteers till like 2.30, and only when Jen called. Jen swore she'd send him to the hospital for real if he ditched us one more time) and when Andrew called me at 3 it was too late kos apparently people had been queuing to enter since 10am or something! nevermind, next year then :S
3. drew says to go to Rhema Conference on 14th Dec. Y/N? :D:D may drag people along.
4. joycelyn is leaving E-426. i'm all kinds of sad.
5. MASSU'S HAIR IS IN DANGER OF BEING CHOPPED AS SHORT AS MARU'S.

7. split my sides laughing with sarah and claire on thursday. long-running shortie jokes, claire's-obsession-with-all-kinds-of-body-products (think: a few hundred bucks worth of body oils) jokes, prada jokes, whiny jokes, food jokes, hair jokes, auntie jokes, you name it.

also the fact that sarah and i went to the stationary shop, came back, walked all over taka, and back, bought and finished bread, came back, then spent half an hour in kinokuniya, and dear Chaire was still exhausting the poor salesgirl with her never-ending queries of certain products you won't find in the possession of many of us -.-
i laugh the hardest around these two, plus mogu, i don't know if i'll ever meet people who'll make me choke on my lunch or embarrass ourselves in public again!
8. all we can do is pray for the better. for the world to return to its previous stability. we act like we're far away from all the mess out there, but we really aren't, and this reminder has been constantly sticking out like a sore thumb. yeah, maybe i'm still worried. especially after today's news. but i think we're too used to the peace we have here. it could be any one of us. if she hadn't gone to india it wouldn't have happened. or if anyone else had gone instead it could be his/her photo on the front page today.
(i know i don't make sense above. kudos to you if you actually comprehend me.)
pray for the better. that things would revert back to its peaceful state. that we'll have hope for the future.
9. here's a list of things the annoying boy i call my brother have made me do over the past few days:
-challenge me to list out all the characters in harry potter by name. like a game. that means he names one and i follow up with another.
-challenge me to list out spells next.
-challenge me to list out movies. and obviously i'm winning because i've seen more movies than he knows in this world, but he ran to my mom for help and insists he wins. way to go.
so yesterday at the range when kevin was like "you know you're bored when you start listing out every character of dota", i was like *__________________*
(as payback, i sang the F4 version of Can't Help Falling In Love all the way on the car to stop him from going "your turn! i said The Gladiator! it's your turn!". he hates me now.)

11. Christmas is coming :D i'm serious, just looking at christmas trees brighten up my day. i don't think i've ever looked forward to christmas as much as i am this year. because i'm celebrating as a Christian this year. city harvest will be fun :D
...and i'm counting on that archery xmas outing at edmund's house to happen! ♥
12. so, over changi airport dinner with family just now, my dad was talking to mom about some plans with the relatives, and he was like "...celebrate Mother's birthday early." (by 'Mother' that means my grandma.)
and it struck me that it's the first of many more years to come that grandma will be celebrating her birthday without grandpa. because my grandparents were both born in December, so we always celebrated their birthdays together on a december-day.
i wonder how long it takes to get used to/over the absence of a grandfather?
