Ok, well this doesn't sound very good, but I met someone.
I like him. He isn't like the people that I'm usually interested in. He loves Tenascious D. He quotes Dane Cook. He's 23. He's in the Air Force and now works in Nuclear Biological Warfare, but don't worry he doesn't make the weapons or push the buttons. He actually develops devices that prevent war, and detects any nulear biological threat. I'm hoping this means he's intelligent. He has a Blue Subaru with a spoiler... it's a nice car. He seems nice. So far he's a gentleman. He's funny and seems like he respects people. We exchanged numbers and he called me today.
So this is where it seems bad. I met him Saturday night at Denny's. I went outside for a cigarette and forgot my coat, so he let me wear his. I went to Denny's again last night, and our waitress calls him back (since he left earlier). So we hung out again last night. Today he calls me and asked to hang out tonight. I guess it doesn't sound bad, but I met him at Denny's Saturday and 2 days later we're going on a date. Actually, I'm not sure if it's considered a date. We are just hanging out, and there isn't like a planned event or dinner or anything, but I don't know what you call that.
I've never been on a date before. And because I'm working and he's hanging out with a friend, the date is a little late tonight. We don't really have a plan for what we're doing, but it should be fun. I'm really nervous. I don't know what to do.... please don't start with the "just be yourself" routines. I know that much. I'm just nervous. I'm sure I'll be ok, but I can call 911 from my cell, and I have a couple friends calling me about an hour after the date starts to check up on me. If the date is going bad, then they'll make up a reason for me to come back to school. If it's going good, then they'll know I'm ok and that everything is fine.
So I actually should get back to work. I love everyone and I'll talk to you all soon.
MOM~ I got Chris Birthday gifts. I hope he likes them. I can't wait to see all of you. I'll talk to you soon. Tell everyone that I love them and miss them.
