so this is the new year
2005. i cant believe that today marks the beginning of 2005. for so many years i have looked to this year with wonder. this year will hold many beginnings for me as well as endings. since elementary school i have asked the question "when will i graduate?". i would think about high school and how old all the high schoolers seemed. they talked about graduation and i thought about how far off it was for me. i have always looked to it as an event in the far future, but now that year is here. its crazy to think about everything that has happened to me up until this point in my life and so many memories slip from my mind. this year holds many major milestones for my life including choosing a college, graduating, and attending my first year of college. i dont know how ready i am for any of these things. can i really handle all of this? i can only hope that 2005 is a great year for everyone and that it goes smoothly. i hope that transitions are made easy and that all goes well. i also hope that everyone is happy this year and that it will bring many surprises along with it.
