Commission fail
I ordered a cosplay commission from ebay a while back. Normally I stick with one seller in particular but they didn't have what I wanted so I was forced to go with someone new, I am now regretting this decision.
It was Princess Euphemia Vi Britannia's pink and white gown which I planned to wear to both the masquerade ball and sunday of Auckgeddon. I made certain to give the seller my exact measurements, I even had them done recently to make sure they were correct.
The dress is way too big, almost falling of me, I have to wear a padded bra so it stays on. -_-; That's not all, the clear bra straps on the dress are flimsy and that worries me plus it's hard to find where they are meant to hook in. :/
But here is the thing that pisses me off the most: I asked if it came with a petticoat so I would know in advance whether I would have to buy one separately or not. The seller assured me it did, when the dress arrived there was no petticoat. D8< This would not have been so bad if the con wasn't three days away! You can't find petticoats in shops, not in Christchurch anyway and if I order one online then there's no way it will arrive in time! D8 This sux! The dress is going to look stupid and drag along the ground without a petticoat! How am I supposed to wear this?! D8< If I can wear it at all! I might not have a costume for the ball and last day of Geddon now. T_T
Thanks a lot ebay seller for screwing up and screwing me over! I'm not buying from you again! Don't buy from this seller people: Doyea_mj as they obviously can't get measurements right and don't deliver what they promise!
Next time I'm only going with people I know or recommendations from people I trust, I've learned my lesson, pity it had to be the hard way. -_- My only hope now is too see if I can borrow a petticoat from someone, wish me luck! :S
