Our belated mid-spring christmas party
We, the Christchurch cosplay club (CCC) finally had our mid-year christmas party. It was meant to be in mid-winter, sometime in july. It ended up getting postponed due to our trip to Dunedin and everyone getting sick afterwards and due to too many other cosplay events happening at the same time. We finally had it tonight, six weeks after the original date and in spring, lol.
We played the present game and I got the best present ever, a huge colourful foam dice! ^_^ It's soft and every number has a different colour, it looks really cool and I like so this a great present. (I like colourful things too). The dancing cow that somebody got in the present game kept everyone amused throughout the evening. xD
Human battleships was played again although I didn't do as well this time. )= We formed a caramelldancin line too. I was cosplay C.C. (Ashford academy version) from Code Geass and Lavi was cosplaying Zero from the same anime. When dinner which was pizza arrived it was Pizza hut. Lavi and I took some photos of us eating it because everybody knows that "Pizza hut supports the rebellion!". 8D
The best part of the evening was the cosplay chess. Mandie had sewn a massive chess mat and cosplayers were assigned different pieces in the game. Whenever two pieces met in battle that scene had to be acted out followed by an epic death scene. The best part was watching Lavi as the black king take down pieces using his geass, lol. =D My only gripe about this game is that people had put their names down for pieces in advance but on the night they just asked people to join if they wanted to. This meant that I didn't get the role I wanted in the game or any role for that matter. However just watching the game made up for it although I wish I could've been a part of it.
We ended what was a fun night with our traditional scatter run. This party may have been late but the wait was worth it! ^_~
