Part One of a Series: Photographs from Vacation of Gorgeous.
The first bit is entitled Photographs I Stole Off the Family Camera. There are a hundred or so more on mine, not all of which, naturally, will be any good, and I will continue to post them in installments whenever I have time. Because I know you are all desperate to see my vacation pictures. This batch is mostly of me, Maria, Daddy, and the girls--none of Mama because she is always cameraperson. There are ones of her on my camera.
So--yes!
Maria playing guitar. My head and shoulders are in one of these photographs, unfortunately. I think I'm singing along to whatever she's playing.
Me at Rock Pond. "Is this pretty enough to excuse the mosquitoes?"
Daddy: No.
Us at Buttermilk Falls, which are gorgeous. My camera has all the photographs of the actual falls. And, um, yes. In these photographs we are obviously displaying our typical family charm. Also, in the last one, my legs look awesome, despite being luminously white. >_> Just saying.
Daddy and me at Cascade Pond. Again, I have actual pretty photographs of this for later. Here I am forcing him to drink water. He is notoriously bad about getting dehydrated.
Us at home! Me reading the newspaper (isn't this fascinating?):
Maria making faces. Do not try to tell me I do not have the cutest prettiest sister ever. ^___________^
A Dear Abby column Maria and the girls improved:
Me, going "Go away, I'm tired!" Somehow I got a green five o'clock shadow in the first picture. Everybody found this very amusing. :D
ZOMG PIZZA! Elena and Maria.
Here, Monika, Maria, and Elena, trying to look emo.
A neighbour who saw them looking emo and cracked up:
Me, with marshmallow on my face, wishing I wasn't getting photographed (I am COLD DAMMIT ;__; in this picture):
And, to finish up, Maria's birthday! ^_^ <3
Maria trying to kill me. This is a common theme in our photographs, actually. There are several more photographs of it happening on my camera. And yes, I look like a fool. I am getting to be zen with that fact.
