I'd offer to bring fish, but I don't think it'd keep for the drive. Just let us know what you want us to bring and we can bring stuff for tacos or sushi (mmm, sushi tacos). Also, want us to bring anything else? Any games or the like?
What do you like on your sushi? I have the wasabi, manda the cream cheese. I can do any of the veggies (and might even be able to throw in for some of them since I finagled some spare change) and I seem to have found out I like the raw tuna in it. :O
And I'm only asking cause it seems like only five of us are actually interested in it. *grins* But, that means more for us!! NUMMM!!!
I'm a big fan of all kinds of sushi. Homemade, though, I find it's best to stick to some of the basics - tuna and salmon for fish, fake crab for california, and cucumber and avacado or other veggies. If you want, I can bring some panko and I can show you how I make jewshi (salmon & cream cheese roll dipped in tempura batter and fried lightly). Yum.
We can always go shopping around here morning of/night before. There are supposed to be a couple of fish markets in A2, so I figure we'll get the fish there, unless Costco has sushi grade fishies. The one thing I do want to ask you to bring is Hot Sex and the banana flavor that the same company makes. If you want to get us a few bottles of each, we'll reimburse you. Or actually, Jess & Frank talked about splitting a case of Hot Sex with us, so we might do something like that too. I'll try to catch you on IM on Tuesday since I'm not going to be working.
Turns out I'll save like 29 cents a bottle (before tax) when I buy a case. I spoke to Jess and Moonbeam tonight and I'm planning on buying 2 1/2 cases total. Unfortunately no savings on the half case.
Yep, it's an alcoholic drink made by "Original Bartenders Cocktails" in Pennsylvania. According to the label, it's made with imported Canton ginger liqueur, vodka, dairy cream, chocolate flavor, ginseng, and other natural flavors.
Not as far as I know. I believe Dan, Moonbeam, Jess and Frank have all looked to no avail. I've only managed to find two places online that sell it, and they have it for $11 a bottle. Binny's, the liquor superstore in Chicago, has them for $6 a bottle before tax, which is why I'm getting 2 1/2 cases for you folk.
