Yay! New Job!
Last week I interviewed with a Day Care center. The owner had me come back on Wednesday to play with the kids. Everybody loved me, and I got lots of toddler hugs. :) Then, she called me on Friday and told me the person I was sposeda replace decided to stay until the end of the school year. :( Then, she called me up yesterday and said that there was a position open in the Latchkey program that they do with Belleville elementary schools. I tried it out yesterday, and everything went well, so today will be my first official day! My group is kindergarten and 1st grade. They love me. :) She told me when I first got there that the kids usually hate every new teacher for the first 2 or 3 weeks... at the end of the day the kids told her they didn't want me to leave! LOL She was like "They LIKE you! That's a good sign!" heehee
