The Never-Ending Saga of the Frillies

I needed a pair of frilly lacey panties to go with my outfit for MarsCon, and just to have around. So a couple of weeks ago, I found the pair I wanted on Ebay and bid on them. We were outbid by $1 at the last second. Grrr. So it took me a week to find another pair, and they were a size smaller than I would have liked. I did a "Buy it Now" and ordered them anyway, since they were what I wanted. I paid for them. A few days later, the seller e-mailed me to say she made a mistake and didn't actually have anymore (even though her store said she had 5 left). GRRR. She refunded my money, which Paypal is now holding hostage. So then it took me about 5 days more, and I found another pair that weren't quite what I wanted, but they'd do. Unfortunately, the seller's only auction for them were ending too late for me to get them on time, so I e-mailed and asked if they could post a "Buy it Now" so that I could just purchase them and get them shipped on time. They replied that the only way to do that was to buy them on their website, and to put a note in it that I wanted them shipped Air Mail instead of expedited parcel post. So I ordered them, paid for them, and included the note in my Paypal form. Then I get an e-mail saying that they will be shipped out tomorrow using 8-14 day shipping!!!! I sent them 2 e-mails saying that I put the note like they told me to in the Paypal form, and that 8-14 days wasn't going to get them here on or before next Thursday. This morning I get an e-mail back saying that they already processed my order and mailed them with the slower shipping!! So now I replied to them saying that they need to send me another pair 2nd day air, and I'll even put another deposit down, and return the ones they sent with the slower shipping. If they don't do that, and the originals don't get here on time, my only hope is to call Noir Leather on Thursday, hope that they have my size, then make the 2-hour round trip up there to get them.

I am apparently not meant to have these damn things. I just wanted to look cute, dammit! *shakes fist at people*
