My Birthday
Monday was a decent day. I ended up getting called in to work that morning, so that was unhappy. :( I got home around 4:30, and Dan had my presents all ready to open. He got me some original Harley Quinn artwork done by Ty Templeton, my Harley Barbie, and Poison Ivy Barbie. I had also gotten a package from my parents, which was a cute recipe holder with a modge-podged fishy on the front, and my dad put "cashew turtles" inside. I put that in quotes because it looks like my dad accidentally put cashew mounds in there, or had a mis-communication with his friend that makes them or something. The cashew mounds are still quite yummy, so I don't mind. Dan really likes the turtles this guy makes, too, so I bet his tummy is dissapointed. :-P Anyways, after present opening and getting ready, we went to go eat dinner at Joe's Crab Shack. mmmmm I had coconut shrimp, which were waaaay better than the last time I had them there. They're almost as good as the ones at that restaurant in the MOA now. *drools* Turns out that Joe's doesn't give free dessert on your birthday, but they sang to me and stuff anyway (I refused to ride the hobby horse around the restaurant... lol), and we had cake at home leftover from Saturday anyway. After that we made a quick trip to Lover's Lane just to look around, cuz it's fun, and then went home. I got my super awesome birthday back-rub, and we ate some cake, and went to sleep.
All in all, a very nice birthday.
