So we're all kinda freaking out with this "What the fuck am I going to do after graduation?" question... and most of us get so scared that we either put graduating off longer and longer (perpetual student), go back to school, or drink ourselves retarded and continue to work whatever demeaning job that got us through school

we're expected to always get from point A to point B, childhood to adulthood, school directly to career, career to retirement. yet fairy tales never say that the average adult changes their career on average of 7 times, 7 completely different careers sometimes too. what fairy tales don't say is that we don't magically change into the perfect adults, its a journey to get there and we GROW as individuals, not all of a sudden "grow-up" like we're some sort of fucking chia pet. i hate these lies that we're made swallow whole as children, yet when we get to the real world we have NO fucking idea what's going on, who we are, because we have a head full of ideals. fuck ideals! make your own ideals, mark your own path, for only you know who you are, not some formulaic conconction of adult supremecy. you grow when you decided to grow. fuck, there are 50 year olds who still haven't "grown up", who's to say they're more established, wise and grown up than we?

you don't know who you are right now, but you're starting to get a sense and starting to reach for something that fits just for you. keep searching, growing, exploring. nothing is wrong until you have proved it as thus. i'm so proud of you!
