holy update
seriously, i can't even remember the last time that i updated this thing. normally i have some sort of a clue, but not so much right now. i'll take a random guess.
so basically classes are good. i did really well on my mse 350 exam, so that makes me happy. it's the only exam i've had so far, though i have two next week. i'm on north campus all the time, and it's nice to have the same kids in pretty much all my classes (i <3 my powerhouse crew). we're kickass. the only class that's not so fun is mse 360, which is a lab. 4 hours of my thursday is taken up in the lab, and writing the reports is ridiculous. i spent about 30 hours on mine in 4 days, and another one is due on halloween (though i will have it done so i don't have to worry about it).
the sorority is good. we inducted 6 new girls, and i have interviews with three of them this week. they seem really cool so far, and i'm glad they decided to pledge.
so i've been sick for pretty much the last two weeks. i went to UHS last week and they said i had bronchial inflammation and fluid in my lungs, and gave me codeine cough medicine and an inhaler to make it better. my sore throat started to come back yesterday, and i'm still have a hard time breathing so i probably should go back (he said if i wasn't feeling better in a week to come back), but i literally don't have time with everything i have to do. it's really frustrating because my attention span is totally gone and i can't concentrate on anything, which makes studying and homework really hard.
i've come to terms with the fact that it's partly my fault because i insist on not taking it easy. my weekends are time to have fun, and sick or not i've decided i'm going to take advantage of that. i've been to sketch city a few times, but the best was definitely last weekend. penn state weekend! we definitely had like 15-20 penn state guys (with some random girls that no one knew) come up for the game on saturday. they were here friday, saturday and sunday and it was awesome! nonstop party at 917 mary, both friday and saturday nights. it was our first party, and everyone said it was good so that makes us happy. there were people EVERYWHERE. i definitely didn't think we could find sleeping room for all of them, but we managed =) they were awesome and hopefully will be coming back our ohio st weekend (so they can go to their game at michigan state) and spend the nights with us. yay. we're definitely going to visit in january, possible for my birthday? we'll see.
i went home for sunday, monday and tuesday this week cause it was our fall study break. definitely made me more distracted that i was before.
inside, i really want to apply myself and work hard and do well, but i'm completely distracted from life.
