All Moved...
Well I'm officially moved into my [first!] new house. It feels so strange not to be renting from anyone...I feel like a grown up, but want to run around squee-ing about all the extra space there is.
Robbie finally has a room of his own- without our computer in it- and our dog finally has a yard to call his own.
We bought a house in Pointe Claire [for those of you who know Montreal] near the lake. Its a really cute little three bedroom cottage from the forties with a huge treed lot.
It feels so weird...I can't really explain it. Its the first time I've had stairs in years [my mom uses a wheelchair so I've always lived in bungalows] so its taken some getting used to.
I just couldn't believe we'd accumulated so much stuff! Packing and unpacking was awful...and now we figure we need at least six more bookcases for all our books. Colin figures we're up to nearly two thousand; they are literally in every room in the house.
Fall is here already and my brain is filled with all manner of lovely elf stories...if I could just get the husband to install Word on our new computer I'd be all set *g*
