Just got back...
I just got back from my birthday party in rural Ontario...[yup, I'm that exciting *g*]
Since my husband never really acknowledges my birthday I decided that this year I'd go back to Ottawa, where I grew up and spend the weekend with my childhood friends...and as my parents are still in Europe we figured where better to have the sleepover and party than in their house [I asked- I swear!].
I had told my friends that I wanted a traditional party-with grocery store cake, movies and soda...nothing fancy. We had such a lovely time just acting goofy together...we had a bbq and told old stories-it was perfect.
I couldn't have wished for a more happy birthday...even if now I'm 27...[where did the time go?]
