Late New Year Meme!
Yes, I'm a slacker. But I got it done - hoorays! :)
1. What did you do in 2009 that you'd never done before? Lived with my partner, went to Byron Bay, went to Woodford, went to Game On.
2. Did you keep your new year's resolutions, and will you make more for next year? I kept my GPA above 6 for the entire year (6.3 - got Dean's Commendations - WOOOT!), lost a little bit of weight. :)
3. Did anyone close to you give birth? My friend's wife gave birth to a baby boy. She's pregnant again already! *dies*
4. Did anyone close to you die? Nup.
5. What countries did you visit? None. Stayed here, yo.
6. Did you have any crushes? On one lecturer, yes. But I already have everything I need. *smooches*
7. What would you like to have in 2010 that you lacked in 2009? A savings account that has more than $500 in it! LOL!
8. What dates from 2009 will remain etched in your memory, and why? No particular dates.
9. What was your biggest achievement of the year? Dean's Commendation, yo! And I didn't miss one day of volunteering either - go me!
10. What is your biggest failing of 2009? Being fucking shoddy at keeping to a budget....
11. Did you suffer illness of injury? Got a cold at the end of June - aside from that, I've been pretty healthy. :)
12. What was the best thing you bought? Metroid Prime Trilogy for the Wii, and my new HD television and Bluray! *dies from the awesomeness* (btw - TV was a must. The previous one imploded....)
13. Whose behaviour merited celebration? My mother, who actually managed to give gifts to Simone for Xmas and let her borrow stuff for travelling. Yes - this is the FIRST time my mother has been on the celebrated side. And Fi and Doug, who looked after me and did dinner/movie nights while Simone was away overseas. :)
14. Whose behaviour made you appalled and disgusted? My aunt and cousin during Xmas lunch, and one of my lecturers who just did not put in her best effort to teach a particular course.
15. Where did most of your money go? Books, video games, rent.
16. What did you get really really excited about? Going to Byron for a romantic weekend. ;)
17. What song will always remind you of 2009? P!NK "So What" and Black Eyed Peas "I Gotta Feeling".

a) Happier or Sadder? Happier
b) Thinner or Fatter? Thinner (woot!)
c) Richer or Poorer? Poorer.

21. How will you be spending New Years Eve? Come and gone - Simone and I had my brother over and another mate - watched Star Trek and Role Models because we are lame. ;)

24. What was your favourite TV program? House, Stargate Universe, Glee, Bondi Vet, RSPCA Animal Rescue.
25. Do you hate anyone now that you didnt hate this time last year? Nup. Feel sorry for a few though.

27. What was your greatest musical discovery? The Mario Kart Love Song.
28. What did you want and get? DSi, a new camera, tickets to P!NK, and

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? Turned 26 - had a party at Bec & Blair's place - first party-party in a long time! :D

34. What kept you sane? My budgie and guinea pig men. ;)

36. What political issue stirred you the most? Marriage Equality in Australia, Videogame Ratings, and Internet Censorship.
37. Who did you miss? My mates Jess and venom69 in Sydney, and playing in band.
38. Who was the best new person you met? Link and Ivan - two awesome blokes!
