*sighs* Ain't it great?! I'm sitting at home while ya'll are still in school. 0:) J/k!!! I just got home from work about an hour ago... Man, oh man! Soooo much happened, but I'll spare the MANY details.
Basically, I like my job, even though it's ALOT of work that needs to be done right away.. Besides some of the waitresses, I like, the only English one in the kitchen. :p Not that it's a bad thing though.. We listened to Mexican music the whole time.. wierd thing is, all the cooks and cleaners are family. :/ Tehehe. So yeah, apparently I'll be getting paid 5 something an hour plus 2% of that day's earnings.. Russ, my boss, said I could be making up to 9 or 10 dollars an hour. HOORAY!! :D My dad sure was happy about that, he said he's gunna start charging me rent now! (heh, he's kidding, I HOPE). :p OOH! Plus, me and one family member/friend get a 50% discount on our meal. -Don't get any ideas now- ;) But yeah, the sucky thing though is that $22 is being taken out of my 1st paycheck because that's how much my work shoes cost apparently.. So yeah, ya'll should check it out sometime. GREAT food. And when I read my employee handbook, I found out one of the policies is that the food MUST be served within 10 minutes of ordering. They sure are fast there! :p And I have to have the tables cleaned within 4.5 minutes of the party leaving.. hmm, I think I can manage that.
I'm so happy! I finally have a job. Now I can buy better gifts and presents for people and not to mention help pay for some of my stuff like necessities. (sp?¿)
Hehe, daddy said that I might have to start buying my own razors.. So I just said that I'm gunna stop shaving all together! He and I got into this big discussion about European women and I was saying how it's not fair that because of our ancestors females feel the need to shave legs and underarms. It's like some unwritten rule/law. :/ I SAY WE PROTEST gosh dern it!!! :D
