Okay, so yesterday I woke up feeling like crap still. My nose was stuffy as could be, and my throat was BEYOND dry. I swear I must have blown half my friggin' brain out! :p I took a whole bunch more medicine and once school was over I took a nap with vix or whatever it's called on. I felt better by the time I had to leave for Solo/Ensemble at Blake. It was SOOO cold out! Brrr! Mrs. Jennifer and I warmed up and did some exercises before it was time. When we got in the room where the judge was I was COUGHING LIKE CRRRRRAZY! I seriously felt like crying because I felt so icky and sore. There were only 4 girls and 1 boy there. Liz, Elise, Aby, Jon, and Me. Ashley and Shawna came to watch anyway. It was pretty fun all hanging out. Anyway, so when it was my turn to perform my TWO FOREIGN songs I got nervous all of a sudden. Not because I didn't think I was capable of doing well, but because my STOOPID cold my mess me up somehow. I think I did alright, atleast I can say I did my best considering the circumstances. :/ After my first song my eyes were getting so red and watery because my voice was in soooo much pain! But I got through them both. The judge said I did an excellent job. And I think he could tell I had a cold. So after waiting for the verdict we all went into the main hallway and some dude was asking people if they wanted pizza.. for some dumb reason everyone said no.. So I decided to go up to him and ask if it free. He said yeah and gave me the WHOLE box of free Domino's pizza! Unfortunately it was all pepperoni(sp?¿) so I just picked the little devils off. :p I shared it with everyone and even though it was a little cold, we sure as heck didn't care. Hey, free stuff taste even better, right?! :p Okay, a TEENY BIT off-topic but the point is when Mrs. Crump came out with our scoring sheets she said my name first. "Brittany Martinez....
