A Beautiful Secret!
One of the beauty world's best kept secrets is one of the fashion world's most raved about: Victoria's Secret. In the past VS has had a vast collection of lip glosses/sticks, eye colors, and skin care. While they had an array of items, the quality was fair- but not necessarily worth worthy of bragging rights.
In recent months Victoria's Secret re-vamped their cosmetics line bringing forth professional inspired products and working with designer Christian Siriano. The result? A beautiful, ultra-glam makeup line!
The pro-line.
The professional products include many skin products, brow gels, and anti-shine gel. Pro Airbrush FX is a face primer used under foundation. When tested, it worked quite well. After application, let dry a few minutes; it makes for a smooth foundation application. Another pro item I fell in love with was the Pro Radiant FX Face Illuminator. It's mixed with your foundation before application and leaves your face with a warm, subtle glow. Both products are $14.00
Eye shadow.
VS eyeshadow was once thin, sheer and too shimmery. After reformulation, the powder shadow is smooth and silky ending with beautiful, velvety results. With categories like lustrous, sparkly, and "velvet" (matte) you could easily get your whole fall collection form Victoria's Secret. Notable colours include: Champagne(nude), Private Beach(taupe), 24K(gold), and Devoted(iridescent pink). All single eyeshadows are $10.00.
