Woohoo, options!
I'm going to Ireland soon! WOOHOOOOOO! Thought I'd just get that out of my system...
Yeah, so, right, yeah, jobs. Why is it that once you've finally got one after searching paintstakingly when there are no vacancies, that loads just pop up. When I was looking for a job there wasn't much of anything about, now there's loads! And, I've been applying for jobs in Leicester as I thought it'd be easier working there rather than commuting. I don't usually hear anything from anywhere I've applied to, well, I've got 2 interviews! Yes, two! Zanzibar in Leicester seem to be desparate for me to be there, but I don't know if I'll take it as I'll be working 10pm-4am 4 days a week! Plus, Evans have given me an interview and if I get that one, it'll be great, because it's in the shoe department! Also, if I stay at Jimmy's then I'll have 2 jobs in Derby! I'll be in Derby anyway so would be available to work at Evans! One can only hope.
The good news is that I have options. I've never really had options before, or been in a position where I can let the employer down by choosing a different job. It's nice. A little bit of a power tip actually. But, I've not got the job yet, so lets not get too cocky. I think I'd prefer to get the Evans job rather than at Zanzibar, but, I've not heard back from Debenhams yet either. It's nice having options. If I only I had some for when I leave uni!
