PECAN PIE CAKE
warning: very delicious and very sweet! (i don't care for pecan pie, except i loved a chocolate-pecan pie i once had, but this dessert is incredible!)
1 box yellow cake mix
3 eggs
1/2 cup softened margarine
8 oz cream cheese (let sit room temperature to soften for ease in blending)
1 lb powdered sugar
1 - 1 1/2 cup chopped pecans
1 tsp vanilla
preheat oven to 325 degrees.
mix cake mix, 1 egg, & margarine together & spread in lightly greased aluminum cake pan (can use brownie pan)
blend cream cheese, 2 eggs, powdered sugar, pecans, & vanilla. pour over cake mixture.
bake 45 minutes.
optional: serve with a dollop of cool whip or scoop of vanilla ice cream
