It's kinda funny, I hardly ever post anymore except for Random Medical Factoids whenever it comes around to test time:
- 50% of the risk for addiction is genetic, making it as "heritable" as stuff like high blood pressure, diabetes, high cholesterol, and cancer.
- Clomipramine (trade name Anafranil) is a tricyclic antidepressant also used to treat OCD. More hilariously, in some patients, it carries a side effect of making you orgasm whenever you yawn.

ETA: "Primary Gain" is the term used to describe avoidance of the inciting psychological conflict, that is, keeping the internal conflict out of consciousness. Attention is instead given to the physical symptoms.
