I started watching Yakitate!! Japan today. Why did I not start earlier? I LOVE BREAD! \o/ I wish I had Solar Hands...
All the Hetalia hate secrets at F!S make me irrationally angry. I think it's because of how some people fail to separate history from fiction, truth from lulzy stereotypes, and fact from characterization. It's a series about countries anthropomorphized into bishies having tea and meetings. Were people actually expecting srs fase historical commentary? I wonder how they'd react to Gintama or Histeria (which was a severely underrated cartoon, btw). What about Monty Python or Blackadder? Making light of history is fun and funny. And I say it makes me "irrationally angry" because I recognize that not everyone is as insensitive or as un-PC as me and so people are sensitive to the trivialization of certain bits of history. I don't know. I don't even know why I care. It's not like I read Hetalia or participate in its fandom in any way.
Macross F's OST is surprisingly good, minus Sheryl's songs. (Sorry, don't care about Macross-style pop/rock/whatever-the-hell-it-is.) This song, in particular, even manages to at times stop sounding like a track from an OST and actually like something from the fourth movement from a Late Romantic composer. I greatly approve. It devolves into sounding like Star Wars and then PotC, but that's okay. This OST is now the biggest factor in my wanting to actually finish Frontier.
Iconning is a great stress relief. I only wish my Print Screen button wasn't spazzing out on me. I don't have the episode I want on this hard drive, and I can totally icon off of Veoh. Sigh.
Macross F OST addendum: What the hell? Why does this "Infinity" song start off exactly the same as that GSD ED4 song (fast forward to 00:28)?
