So I'm going over my biochem notes. Everyone in the class has gone through high school biology and taken at least two years' worth of college-level biology plus lab. Everyone in the class has gone through high school chemistry and taken at least two years' worth of physical and organic chemistry plus lab. So why the hell do lecturers feel it's necessary to begin their notes and lectures with a run-through of hydrogen bonding? It's like starting off a differential calculus class with an overview of basic arithmetic.
Instead of preparing my biochem notes last night, I watched Casshern and Nodame. Casshern is still cool, and I'm patient; I can wait for the plot to appear any moment now. Until then, broodbroodbrood, my mysterious brooding protagonist. As for Nodame, well, needs more classical music and less racial/cultural stereotypes. More Beethoven (Eroica! \o/), less otaku, plz.
There are certain fics that give me the heebie-jeebies due to the genre of its content, for lack of a better word. Zerozaku/C.C. and Zerozaku/young!Lelouch certainly falls in that category. I don't want to imagine a thirty-something/forty-something Suzaku perving on a pubescent mirror image of Lelouch or on a witch that will forever look 16. I know that C.C. is ollllld, but still. Lookin' kinda pedo there, Suzaku.
