Pre-AP biology, AP biology, 4 years' worth of undergrad bio classes, and it's taken me until now to realize that the "TCA" in "TCA cycle" did not stand for "the citric acid cycle". Instead, it stands for "tricarboxylic acid cycle". Is citric acid a tricarboxylic acid? Yes. So does it make a difference? Definitely not. But it is now one small mystery solved. (Always wondered why "the" got a letter in the acronym.)
Okay, for the past week and a half, I've been subsisting largely off of potato and leek soup, tuna salad, and frozen pot pies. It's been...a heavy week. Someone suggest something for me to eat that isn't saturated with deliciously artery-killing egg and cream goodness?
Alternatively, I might go try to find an Indian supermarket to see if I can buy some garam masala because I'm still craving aloo gobi something fierce.
