sometimes I wonder if I really do enjoy sewing... I whine the entire time I'm working on a project. For example today, while I was working on the mock-up of my suit jacket, my grandma was like, "jess, you don't look very happy for doing something you like..." Which that was mostly like because I was cutting the pieces out. I hate cutting the stuff out, especially because the scissors I'm stuck using are duller than butter-knives... I'm the slowest cutter ever, too. I started working on cutting out the pieces of the pattern, and then cutting out the fabric pieces at like, 1pm. it's now almost 4pm and I just finished... I guess it's all the preparation-y crap I don't like doing. I want to freaking SEW not cut crap out. oh well, that's life.
now I just have to go figure out what pieces go together. *headdesk* this mock-up jacket's gonna be really ugly, I doodled the pattern markings and the piece numbers on them... heh.
