LOCK DOWN hail from North West England and are made up of members Rob, Joanne, Estelle, Chris and Faye. Most of the group met at Preston College of Dance studying professional dance, in 2002 Chris and Rob were invited to join a new boyband which toured with the likes of Westlife, Liberty x, Blue and many more and released a Top 15 UK single.
The boyband came to an end and the lads decided to go alone, recruiting 3 talented female dancers to join them on tour and to star in their video, which gained national airplay. After the guys saw this was a much more better stage show with the girls in and that their talents didn't just lie in the world of dance they decided to join forces. In November 2005 … LOCK DOWN was born!
LOCK DOWN’s musical influences include a current RnB flava like the Pussycat Dolls and Black Eyed Peas mixed with their pure pop roots.
