Black Belt Test - Done. x.x;

It's finally over.

I can't reveal any details about the test because I'm not allowed,
but I can at least share a few thoughts on it.

I remembered most of the things I needed to know - embarrassingly enough I forgot some stuff and I thought for sure I was going to fail right then and there.

It was... intense.
When the other black belts told me, "Every chance you get... BREATHE!" they were not kidding.

For the most part, I was happy with how I did.

I won't know if I got my black belt or not for at least another month. First of all, they have to discuss our performance. Then, they have to read our essays - did I mention I had to write a five page essay on "Martial Arts and Daily Life?" Once they read it, they also have to submit a copy of the essay, plus their opinions on our test to the Tae Kwon Do Black Belt Association (or something like that), so we honestly won't know for a while if we made it or not.

Oh Lord, I hope we did...

Anyway, afterwards, my fellow black belt candidates and I went out for dinner and celebrated!
It was cathartic, to say the least!

Later today, I'm going out again with one of them because it's her birthday and we're celebrating again.

Right now, though? I'm aching all over!
