Initial FujiTV report!

Dec 27, 2009 18:12

UPDATE: Someone already posted a LQ streaming version! XD Here it is!

UPDATE 2: And it's posted here too, with a little translation. :D

Okay! they showed it at long last... and oh my God, so MUCH they left out. XD

To begin with, we SUFFERED through 2 hours of report stories on ice skating, the plane incident in Detroit, and.. .the germbusters. >.> (don't ask).

FINALLY, it started with Arashi themselves. Apparently Mezamashi was giving them some kind of an award because of their accomplishments in 2009.

They then did a survey of folks on the street, asking them what their top Arashi songs were. and amazingly enough, One Love was #1 :O

Top three were One Love, a.ra.shi. and truth. :)

They then asked what they liked best about Arashi (at least, I think they did - I'll know later when someone translates the entire thing for me. XD)

After that... they said New York, and the entire chatroom where I was in with the other girls exploded into flying lines of OMGGGGG! KIYAAAA! Ahhhhh! XD

They showed Sano-san walking into the karaoke room where we were all already singing an Arashi song - Believe! We all had our uchiwas in our hands (they never did mention that we didn't have one of Nino. XD XD) BUT! When Sano asked which ones we had, a couple of folks said, "Arashi!" which, when the group heard us saying that, they were very happy. XD

They kept part of Jess's Aiba-moment when she wanted to call Sho a prince (Ouji-san), but Sano-san heard her call him an old uncle, (Ojisan) XD. You can see little hirigana "ojisans" all over the screen and all of us laughing - even Sano-san laughing his head off. XD
At one point, they were filming us all singing, and a bunch of us (me in the green shirt up front!) dancing the steps for a.ra.shi. :D

Destini was seen rapping Sho's solo in Believe!

And then, they showed my student, yadiraakayari ! Her walls were covered with Arashi posters, and they caught her saying that Jun was her baby. XD And she showed them all the posters in her room (which, incidentally were taken from mine and permanently given to her. XD)

I'm sure there was more, but darned if I remember any of it now. The best part.... ARASHI WATCHED IT ALL! :D
Now, that being said, I am upset over the fact that I kept telling my students about how they were all going to be on Japanese TV, and that the stuff we filmed at school, with my Japanese Club and such, were going to be shown on TV.... not a word. :(

That part was definitely disheartening. I feel bad about going back, now, and showing them the 6-7 minute clip they created, of which only 1-2 minutes were of us. >.> *sighs* Ah well... next time, I suppose. :) At least I have a contact with FujiTV now, and perhaps there will be something else in the future, right?

Regardless, I'll be getting a copy of the segment as soon as T-san sends it to me, and I'll post it up and friends-lock the post. If you added me, but I haven't added you yet, PLEASE remind me and let me know. Since I did some subbing projects in the past, I had a bunch of folks add me, but I didn't add them in return, since I didn't really know them. ^.^;; But if you let me know you want a copy of this, and post as such here, I'll add you!

The SMAP Tokudane clip that I got is still in pre-production. XD Christmas came too fast and I had no time before I left for my parent's house in NC. When I get back, I'll work on that ASAP and post it. :)
