Another annoying day at the park. People refused to keep their dogs off the sand. So we had to go down the beach to tell them and they inevitably responded "I know" or pleaded ignorance "I didn't know."
There are signs all over - and if you did know, why did you do that?? Augh!
Then there were the people who KEPT breaking minor rules, kept doing things we told them not to. Ugh. NO, you can not play football right in the middle of a crowd of people so that you have to dive in between people to catch the football.
My coworker (a 20 year old girl who grew up in Linden) kept murmuring complaints about all the black people there. Incidentally was the one group of white people doing most of the rules-breaking.
At least it wasn't Bluebell though. Bluebell, the beach at the north end of the county, had shots fired. It was in the parking lot, not the beach, and nobody was hit - shots were fired into the air. They caught the guy who did it, but last I heard, were looking for the gun. Probably his friends already picked it up so it wasn't found. The ranger at our park was grumbling that they needed to search everyone.
Search 3000 people? Because the day before, there were 3000 people at that park.
Yay, Genesee county and its extremes.
