Life flows, ya kno? Some people flow deep, with dark depths and rocky bottoms, as well as sandy coves. Some people flow wide and shallow, hiding nothing beyond what you see through the clear sparkle, not hidden depths, or murky spots where mud and sand collide and mix. And then, there are those who are more like the stars reflected in these lakes and rivers, the ones who stretch on forever, as implausible as the sky, but who leave a little bit of light everywhere. The people who are here-but not here, who seem to go through life without ever having been touched with the everyday worries that plague us all, who are so strong that they take up our own burdens for a while and carry them for us. The ones that look the same as us, until you see their eyes.
Their eyes are what set them totally apart. They are totally ageless-like the sea, the sky, the earth. They’ve seen so much, saddness and joy, mirth and sorrow. They are here, not because they have any more lessons to learn- no they are old souls. They are here because they want to help us along, to help us with our learning. They are here out of love-not bound.
