It tempts him so
He was consumed by them. Whenever he closed his eyes he saw blue sparks and bright blue eyes. They both tempted him and he knew one day he would give in, after all he would always take what he couldn’t have.
But he couldn’t decide which one he wanted more the beautiful sparkling girl or the beautiful sparkling power. They were so intertwined that it was hard to tell where one stopped and the other one began.
So he gave in, tasted both and then took the power. Turns out without the girl the power was neither beautiful or sparkling.
