I am alive. Just not using the laptop... been surfing with the iPad.
http://art-fumes.livejournal.com/101428.html is today's comic strip. Enjoy the mad science! (And insert "Weird Science" by Oingo Boingo here.)
Friday, I went to Lancaster to see my friend
Catarzyna. I'm a whole five days older than her. Really. We exchanged Christmas and birthday gifts (yeah, I hardly ever see her - it sucks). She gave me a hair stick (her friend makes them) and a lovely necklace of a kitty. (And she paid for my Build A Bear critter later.) I gave her a ton of crap. She's a kitchen witch so I gave her some fancy cooking oil, a couple of dip mixes (they had her last name on them), a book about spinning yarn and a onesie for her soon to be baby daughter, Vivienne, that has N00B on it. Start 'em geeky to start 'em right. We went to the Park City Mall and ran amok. We chatted with some of her friends, lots of fun, nice ladies. We went to Build A Bear and had too much fun. I swear, one of these days we're going to get thrown out of there. Anyway, she made a Hello Kitty for Vivienne while I made a red panda which I named Captain T'Aang. He's an astronaut. (T'Aang = Tang. Red pandas are kind of orangey. Tang is orange drink for astronauts. Yeah, there is a teeny tiny thread of logic in there.) They didn't have a space suit so I got him an Air Force one. (Here is his picture:

Cornerofmadness. She has requested a purse so that's what I'll make... if I can find a pattern that isn't $50 to buy (for a pattern!?) and not something so complicated that I need a degree in engineering to figure out the thing. We also had lunch at the Olive Garden. I came home and passed out since I had worked the previous several hours.
Saturday, I read, slept, and made some Halloween cards. Drew the comic, too.
