I think I got something for everyone on my list. I put it all in a box and labeled it XMAS 2013. Hopefully I will remember where it is in December. While the Moss Man didn't show up that day, there were some other fantastic costumes: gnomes, goblins, gargoyles, a unicorn, a guy dressed as Cinderella, and so on. Yes, a dude in princess drag. I guess some guys want to be pretty. He pulled it off except he didn't have fake boobs so hey - works for me. If some guy can attend the festival and wear nothing but a kilt and be covered in mud, we can have a dude princess. Whoever did his make up and wig deserves an Academy Award for their work. I got to pet sheep, dogs, a horse, and a pig. Photos of me and the pig are above. I'm the one in spots, the pig is the black one, just so you can tell the difference.
I am going to attempt to chisel my hair out of this knot that's on my head. It's itchy (the reason I don't use hair products is that they make me itch) and feels awful. You could bounce a brick off my head and I wouldn't notice.
The KY Derby was exciting. I had completely forgotten that I like Orb. I quickly remembered coming down the stretch, though. I posted four horses to my Facebook account. I would have taken 3,4,5th. I don't think that's a bet though.
Anyway, JKL and I had fun. It was a wonderful weekend weather wise, too. I'm a little burnt but nothing bad. I'm tired.
