People Suck (May Trigger Emo)
OMG. I just received a notice from the director of HACC (college I attended for my MLT degree).
As this week draws to a close, I want to reach out to you about the series of events that occurred on the Harrisburg Campus on Monday and Tuesday, Dec. 3 and 4, 2012.
As many of you know, a female student was abducted from the West parking lot Monday morning. The suspect is now in custody after the Harrisburg Bureau of Police arrested him Tuesday afternoon. I want to commend the female student who showed courage and determination in the face of danger and was able to escape.
Due to this and other recent assaults in the city, Harrisburg Mayor Linda Thompson has formed a task force to educate the public on sexual assault prevention. The task force was announced this morning during a news conference that Todd Crawley, HACC director of public safety, and I attended. Members of the task force will include representatives from HACC.
OMG. WTH is going on in the world? This was at a community college, in Harrisburg, PA, near the Farm Show Complex. This is not something you would expect to happen there. Are people that crazy that they have to kidnap someone? Yes, evidently.
Yet another reason why I dislike most people... you meet those who do the above crap.
Sarcastic comment: Good thing I'm fat. It makes me difficult to kidnap. You ain't shoving me into a car.
