For everyone bitching one way or the other about this most recent election, may I remind you of someone? *President Richard Milhouse Nixon.* Remember? If not, look him up. Read through the page. Now go wipe your ass. Thanks. Oh, and shut up.
No, I can't take credit for that up there. I saw where a friend of mine posted on Facebook a big banner that read "President Nixon" and wrote, "Every now and then, there comes a time that this needs posted. Those who know the story behind this will know where I'm coming from."
My grandfather never voted Republican ever... until Nixon. The only reason he DID vote for RMN was because Nixon said he'd bring the boys home from Vietnam. My Dad and two or three of his brothers were serving over there - one of whom was in the infantry getting shot at (my uncle James who passed away last year). After the debacle of Watergate, my grandfather never voted again. EVER.
I really don't have anything to say. Work was work. I've been crocheting and reading. The book is "The Ancient Alien Question" by Phil Coppens. So far, I'm not convinced. It's fun, an engaging idea but it's about as far fetched as regular religion is for me. However, it does talk about the folklore of ancient peoples and the archaeological sites that most mainstream scientists don't mention (Puma Punku, Moheninjo Daro, Baalbek).
