You wanna know how I voted? I pushed the little buttons on the touch screen computer. OK. Really, I voted we put Election Day in JUNE! I had to stand outside for 20 minutes in wind and the temperature was just peeking around 32 degrees F. OMG! There is FROST on the ground and I saw snow flurries on my way to the polling station. ARGH! If I die, blame democracy. (Put that on my tombstone.)

I must have freaked some people out at work. I always carry my purse and my work bag (has snacks, books, etc.) but tonight I also dragged in this HUGE bag. I think they believe I moved in. No, actually, I just brought in around $40 worth of canned goods for the food drive. :) People starving in my own backyard type thing bothers me. I have extra money (a little anyway) so I can afford to give. I used to get the HUGE turkeys at one of my previous jobs. I gave them to the local food bank. A family of around 7 or 8 people does not need a 20+ pound turkey. It would go to waste. Also, at least three of us got turkeys every year. Jeez. Now I get gift cards from my job for turkey. I give the gift card to my cousin J and S since they have two kids, soon to be three, and his job doesn't pay all that well. (It's good money considering he has no training, just his high school diploma... but I know they will use the card and will have a better meal if I do.)(Plus, I don't shop at that grocery store chain. I don't even know of any around here. I'd have to go to York to find one.)

It is now, however, time for some hot tea and cookies. Also, time for fiber. I need to get some more hats and scarves made for the Xmas charity thing at Brown's Orchards. :)
